Life is a series of repetitions, of cycles. The ancients demonstrated this with their cyclical calendar systems. They knew time was not a straight line. They looked at nature and saw circles, exactly like the insides of a clock. And they were able to predict the future knowing that nothing really goes away, it just submerges for a while until it cycles predictably ‘round again.

So when something “happens” – anything at all – it comes from somewhere previous, somewhere within the great cogs of time. Nothing that happens is truly “new.” Oh, it may look new, but it carries an ancient memory. All things were written in your soul from a time you do not remember.

So what is the point if we just have to live over and over the same scenarios? Because each and every “happening” is an opportunity to revisit scripts previously written, pick up the pen anew, and choose, choose again.

We are here for learning, and this masterful system of teaching gives us the opportunity to try once more, but never truly escape until we have learned our lessons. Thus the idea of reincarnation. Of course! We get to hang out until we graduate.

So what happens when you graduate? No more need for incarnation, because there are no lessons. Everything is finally great but your need to be here is over. You get to walk out the double doors of that dingy old school with the linoleum floors and never look back. You are free.
So take on the circumstances of your life with great gusto, like a good student, knowing it is YOUR freedom, your graduation, you are working for. No blaming anyone else for anything. That just keeps YOU in school. Be happy knowing that your happiness depends only on you.
