The garden to me is a card that can be seen as a metaphor for your life. Its a card of manifestation. When you see this card you have to ask yourself, "What am I giving my time and energy to?" For me it tends to be a positive card, because as creative person it usually represents that something I have been working on or envisioning is finally coming to life. For example if you saw this card with the nine of spades, you should probably find out what negative things have creeped into your "garden" and are now taking your energy. Just like a garden, we are constantly planting seeds in our lives and allowing certain things to grow...the goal is to do this with intention and to keep from letting weeds grow.

Personally, I see this card as the emotions and inner impulses brought to a more material/physical level. Because the 8 is a number so connected to the material world, I see the 8 of Hearts as representing our emotional life manifested. I also see it being all things in material world that lure our emotions and bring forth our impulses - both good and bad! Lust, seduction, temptation, comfort, luxury, drugs, a loving environment, a beautiful place... all these things.

Of course, the good or bad manifestation of this card will be given by the spread around it. But that's more or less how I see it

That's a nice card to get!
I'd interpret it as: you'll find a great pleasure in working with PCO. You may fall in love with the overall idea of the PCO and feel immensely attracted to it. However, you must be careful to not forget the practical aspects of learning it - the part of practicing, studying, doing readings... the practical efforts.

I've noticed when reading for others that this card appears when people want to live only in the pleasure - they don't want to do the work that goes behind creating eden on earth. Usually they indulge at other people's expense.

Also, I've seen the 8 of Hearts appear when someone thinks they have found heaven on earth - usually in another person. It's a card of temptation and that can be good or bad depending on the other cards.
